DPG Service release 7.2.1403.0

In the following, we describe the changes that have been made to all versions of DPG Service that are still supported. Release notes are displayed with a version number, date of release, a brief heading, as well as a more detailed description of the new or altered functionality.

Digital Post: Use display name as sender

Until now, Digital Post messages sent from a CVR number have been shown with the CVR number as the sender address - as below:

It is now possible to configure the DPG service so that, if the information is available in the Digital Post message, either the contact point name, organization name, or person name is shown instead as the received message’s display name (DisplayName). See the following examples:

To use this new setting, it must be enabled in your organization’s DPG solution. Contact the DPG Service Center, and we will be happy to help:

Please note that we are considering making this a default setting in the DPG service in a later update.

Messages must not contain attached emails

The DPG service now rejects sending Digital Post and mit.dk messages that include attached emails (in .msg and .eml format). Neither Digital Post nor mit.dk allows attached emails.

If a user attempts to attach an email and send it as Digital Post or mit.dk, the DPG service returns an email like the following:

The above example is from Digital Post; mit.dk provides a similar result.

Self-service in the customer portal

Finally, DPG Service is prepared to support self-service related to certificates in the DPG Customer Portal. The solution will soon be available in the Customer Portal.
